The test rifle for this pure copper Hammer HBC™ was a 20″ 1-9″ twist barrel 270 Sherman Short Mag running at 3410 fps. Validating bc at 860y at our 4200′ elevation, this bullet was still hitting the target with 2125 fps and carries 1800 fps to just over 1100y. This will be a great long range combo in any .277 caliber rifle with a barrel twist of 1-9″ or faster.
