It is a small bullet I ended up loading it shorter than my other reloads to get a decent crimp on it . I loaded it @ 4000fps in my 220 Swift ,1-14 twist Remington , my first 5 shot group at 100 yards were one small hole less than dime size , I have shot a couple beavers and one coyote with complete pass throughs for such a small bullet it is very impressive, I will be buying more

Very accurate bullets, and easy to load for (as long as you follow the recommendations for a powder on the faster end for your cartridge). My go-to load was found at my starting charge with H110! Largest group shot with that load was 0.38″ at 100yrds, typical groups run closer to 0.25″ using federal match primers vs remington. Plan to use for turkey and predators.

I purchased the 35 grain hammer bullets to load in my .22-250 1:10 twist rifle and my 5.56 1:9 twist carbine. I have not had any luck with load development that works in either rifle. No data is published and most preferred powders for similar weight bullets are unavailable. I do have Winchester 748 and Winchester 760 powders but don’t seem to work effectively for me. I do have other powders but can’t find similar load data for these hammers. Won’t buy these bullets again as I’ve spent too much time already trying to make these work! Some general load data would help customers create successful loads and lead to repeat business.

The 35g Hammer Hunter™ will line up nicely with lead core 35g data, such as Hodgdon. There are quite a few acceptable powders for the bullet weight. We are sorry that you were unable to find powder that would work for you. Hammers are generally very easy to find a load. Ref: Steve Davis-They may shoot great with a slower twist-1-12 or 1-14. I have over stableized light bullets in a 257 roberts. 1- 10 rifiling did not work with 60 gr. bullets. 75 gr. bullets shot fine.-Something to ponder. JIm Knaub-Philipsburg,Mt

Was curious what these might do in my 722 rem. 14 twist. Had some Reloder 7 laying around and tried it at 23 grains. Ended up at 23.2 grains for muzzle velocity of 3812 fps and .164″ 3 shot group at 100 yds. Didnt even crimp them with nosler new brass. Shot a gallon milk jug full of water at 50 yds and the little guy made it through the other side! Got me thinking about hunting venison with it now!
