I bought a 1-8 twist Remington 700 SPS specifically to shoot 90gn hht hammers and they did not disappoint. Sub moa at about 3000 fps (can get more speed just ran out of time for more testing). Took a 140lbs 66 point at 90 yards and totally destroyed lungs and top of heart crashed at 20yards with enough blood to track if needed and looked like buckets of blood on ground,on trees and limbs above him just blood everywhere. Can’t say enough about Hammer bullets my grand son and I have taken around 12 whitetail in the past 2 1/2 years with them in 7mm,6.5,308 and now 243. The only thing I have noticed is if they don’t drop where they stand and we have had 4 do that you might not have a great blood trail in the first 20-30 ft but after that Stevie Wonder could track it for you. Never had one go past 40 yds most drop within 20. Reminds me of how devastating I thought Nosler ballistic tips were when they first came out but with much less meat loss. As long as Hammer makes bullets that is what I will hunt with. Would post pic of lung and heart damage but file is too big.

Chambered a 1:7.5 twist Benchmark carbon barrel in 6 Remington Ackley Improved shooting 90gr HHT at 3540 fps. Killed a coyote at 75yds worked very well. Easy load development .250 MOA

Shot 2 deer with them this year, 6mm rem AI at 3400fps, shoots 1/2″ all day and works like a lightning bolt on deer. Im not sure but maybe a little more violent than the traditional hammers I’ve been using for years, but still way less bloodshot than a cup and core

Running this bullet in my 6mm flatlander at 3700fps. Shot a big whitetail at 350 and absolutely stoned him!! Works close or far and is shooting a hole. I had to put an 8 twist on this gun as with a 7 some of the lead bullets were not making it to the target. Speer and hornady. So with an 8 twist this is as heavy as I can go but it is plenty.
