Although maybe a little on the heavy side for a 280AI, these shoot .5″ at an easy 2850FPS. Probably going to try and push them harder just to see but very happy as is. The buck my wife shot this year with this combo only went about 10 yards with minimal bloodshot. Tried the 143’s too but these just shot a little better out of my rifle.

Comfortably pushing the 155gr HH north of 3100 fps with a 7 PRC. Harvested my first-ever elk with this bullet in Nov 2023. Took one shot (and impacted a little further back than I’d have liked) on the elk, which ran 30 or so yards, then expired. The 155gr HH performed very well. I would use this bullet again and recommend it to others.

APR Maverick Light with 22″ Proof Barrel with Bannish 30 suppressor. Like the other review I was able to get 2900 fps and <.5" groups at 100 yards. There is room to make them faster if you want but this worked for my needs. Terminal performance on deer was as good or better than any other bullet I've used. Deer ran < 25 yards, good exit wounds for trailing if you needed to and internal damage was impressive without much bloodshot meat. I think this is an excellent choice for a 280 AI and I would recommend this bullet to others.

Haven’t hunted with them yet, but ease of finding an accurate load deserves 5 stars! 280AI, Savage action, C6 barrel, 1:8 twist, 24″ long. First work up netted 1/2 moa 5 shot groups @ 3100fps.

These bullets shoot 100yd bugholes out of my 7 SAW. I get an easy 2820fps out of a 22″ CFW Bartlein, and after confirming dope out to 600yds, I finally had the opportunity to try on game this year. Took a Wyoming Pronghorn buck through both elbows at 320yds. Damage internally was very impressive, but left almost no meat loss, even with his offside leg bone being completely severed. Can’t wait to continue using these on deer sized and potentially larger game.
