I’m pushing these at 3000 fps out of a Winchester Model 70 chambered in 7 Rem. Mag. 1 – 9.5 twist, 26 inch barrel. 57.7 grains N550. They are hitting right where they should out to 300 yards. The vapor trail is awesome.

My 7MM Christensen Arms Ridgeback using 160 gr Shock Hammer™ is just an incredible hunting combo. I also have a Browning 7MM and used it before going to Arms. All I can say is I am not a great shot but a pretty good one. Every and I mean ever elk, bear and deer has gone down with one shot, except the elk. The first shots with elk however have been very long range for me in excess of 300 yds. The first shot on one knocked um down, and stayed down for about 30 seconds, then stood but could not move. I hit the elk with another within 2 inches of the first and that was it.. Down for good!! Every bear, and every deer has gone down with one 160 Gr Shock Hammer. The closest was maybe 80 yds, and the longest in the 300 yd range. All have hit the dirt, right now. Granted I waited for each to give me a lung/heart shot either straight on or only a side angle. But they did go down. I use a Leupold VX6 illuminated 4-24 and the Glass and reticle are amazing with both those rifles. The combo of gun/bullet/scope are deadly. T
