We ran this 129gr Absolute Hammer™ in our .264 Winchester Magnum 1-7.5″ twist test rifle at a comfortable 3420 fps. This is a solid 200 fps faster than conventional bullet load data for 130gr bullets. A good 300 fps faster than the majority of published data. We did well with rl-26 and n565 powders. The Absolute Hammer™ should be loaded by experienced reloaders that are competent at working up loads that do not match up with any published load data.
Recommended minimum twist rate is 1-7.5″

This bullet consistently shoots sub .5” at 100 yards out of my 6.5-284 Norma. I’m getting 2995fps with an es of 11 (measured with a 15 round string) using 51.6 grains of H4350 CCI BR large rifle primers and nosler brass from a 22” barrel.

The 6.5 129 GR Absolute H knocks them down right now. I hunt mule and Whitetail in NW MT. Each first shots knocks them down right now.. If a distance away from me, I might shoot again only to be sure. However when dressing out, the heart and lungs are done!! I have also used on black bears and once in awhile I may have to hit them twice, But they go down the first time.. I recommend Hammer to all my loading friends.
