Ok quarter bore guys, we got you the rocket sled ready to run.  1-10″ twist 90gr Absolute Hammer™ is going to be fun for sure.  Just think a 257 Weatherby Mag running at 3900fps.  I think Roy has a grin right now.  Absolute Hammer™s should be loaded with caution as they will not line up with conventional load data.

I shoot these in my ruger m77 mark ii 25-06 at 3660 fps and they shoot phenomenal on paper and on game. I was impressed with the performance on two whitetails this year. I’m switching all my hunting rifles to hammers now they’re hard to beat.

My X bolt took two whitetails last fall with this. One at a stones throw and the other at 330 yards. I wanted to see 3700fps with this but only made it there with RL19 which I’m essentially out of.
Now it’s time to try it in my son’s new 257 bee and maybe dig out the old Ruger #1 in 25 WSM. The barrel is on its last legs but it still might be fun.

I tried these out of my 257 Bee Ultralightweight MKV rifle. With RL 26 I reached a very comfortable 3650 fps. Accuracy is phenomenal!

Thought I would give these a try in a 257 Weatherby Mark V that we installed a Lilja barrel on. Ran it up to 73.0gr of H4831SC with a CCI 250 primer with no pressure and averaged 3899 FPS and holds .3-.4 MOA. Great bullet!

It took a handful of test loads but once I found the combination they exceeded my expectations. My rifle is 26″ barreled Browning B-78 and with the preferred load 3 shot groups are under 1/4″ and zipping along at 3650, and this not max toss in another grain of RE-17 and they leave clocking 3700 but the average group sizes almost doubled to 1/2″
