This 150gr pure copper Power Hammer™ is replacing the 152gr Hammer Hunter™. It has identical baring surface so it will load nearly identical with little or no change from previous loading. With a slightly larger 2mm hollow point this bullet will have more consistent low vel impact performance. A very good choice for 308 Winchester and up into magnum 30 caliber rifles.
Required twist rate is 1-12″ or faster
Bullet length is 1.24″
Nose length is .699″

I got some of these to replace the 152 Hammer Hunters that have been discontinued. Just as advertised, these load and shoot essentially identically to the 152’s. I’m shooting these through a 308 win which is fairly picky: other than the 175 SMK most rounds are 1.5 MOA 5 shot groups (SMK’s do about 1 MOA). However, it seems to love hammer hunters and power hammers (including the 166 HH) with sub-moa groups being the norm.
