Built a custom 6 Remington Ackley Improved with a 7.5 twist mainly for coyote hunting. Was planning on using 115DTACs or 107 Sierras but after seeing how well the 143gr Hammer Hunter™s performed in my 7-06 Ackley I thought I would try 88gr Hammer Hunter™s and it was a good move. Running them at 3530fps grouping 1/2″ at 200yds and hits really hard. Very easy to load for like any Hammer bullet I have used, just seat them .010 off lands start low and work up on powder charge and you will have it. Easiest bullets I have worked up loads for including custom bullets for my custom benchrest rifles.

Most accurate non-lead bullet I have ever used by far! .02″ @ 100 yds. in my 6mm GT, equal to my best 88 gr. lead bullet load.

Just loaded my first round of 88 Gr Hammer Hunter™’s in my new 6 mm Creedmoor 1-7 twist Proof barrel. 44 gr of 6.5 staBall several groups of .250 at 100 yards. Sorry I don’t have the FPS yet. I would recommend.

Trying to find load for 20 inch barrel with suppressor . Had several that shot half inch until I tried 44gr of 6.5 Staball . Grouped like it had eyes ! 3205 ft/second . Not even going to try a different load . Can hardly wait to put it to work . Thanks , Mark Gendreau .

I’m running these at 3370fps in my 6mm creed 1-8” twist using h4350. These shoot into 5/8 for me at 100 yards which is plenty accurate for the hunting I do. I had the opportunity to take two deer with these and they work beautifully like every other hammer bullet I’ve tried.
