I have used the DeadBlow version of these on deer in the UK and they work extremely well. I was looking for a non-lead fragmenting bullet which produced minimal over penetration for our busy island. I have used them successfully on three roe, two fallow and two sika deer. I get a typical single entry on chest shots and five exist holes in a cluster about the size of a large orange. I am driving them at 3,250 fps in a 6.5-284 Norma and have dispatched deer out to 180 yards which are normal ranges for lowland deer management in the UK. Load development has been very easy and my early load testing using virgin Lapua brass has not produced groups any larger than 3/4 MOA regardless of charge weight. My temporary load for the moment gives me 1/3 MOA and I look forward to fine tuning accuracy and ES now I have fire formed my cases. Steve has been very helpful with getting load data sorted and I am very impressed with how helpful this company is.

My 20″ 6.5 CM has this zipping over 3200 FPS. It is absolute coyote destroyer. Plus the flat trajectory doesn’t have me making adjustments at extended distances!

I tried it with 47.6 gr of Staball and a magnum primer. I got groups I could cover with a dime. Flat shooting and hard hitting. A great deer load for most hunters. Plus the others at the range think the vapor trail is pretty cool. At 200 yards it is still going about 2800 fps. That’s going to do a number on anything it hits

I’m at 47.3gr of 6.5 StaBall out of my 6.5 CM. Killed a blacktail buck at 225 yards last fall. Angling away, the bullet shed 3 petals, destroyed the liver, hot the spine, and shattered 7 vertebrae before lodging inside the spine. He never knew what hit him! I’m impressed!

I chose this bullet for my 6.5 CM due to it’s BC and velocity when pushed with Winchester 6.5 StaBall. In my rifle, 47.3 grains was pushing the bullet to 3100 out of my 24″ barreled Weatherby Range Certified Vanguard. This bullet is a performer! I harvested a Columbian Blacktail buck at 225 yards with a single shot as he was quartering away from me. The bullet hit a bit high, and entered six inches in front of his hind quarter. After liquefying his liver the bullet shed three petals, hit his spine and turned and ran up the spine destroying seven vertebrae and lodging inside the spine itself. This shot folded him like a soup Sandwich! Only meat loss was a small portion of one back strap. What more can you ask for from an all copper hunting bullet?

So, being unsatisfied with the accuracy of pretty much every lead free factory offering I could get my hands on I got a box of these bullets and man, am I glad I did. I loaded virgin starline brass, a Winchester large rifle primer and worked up to 41 grains of Varget. Played with seating depth a little, and found a load that shot one hole groups out of my Aero Solus and my 2020 Waypoint. I couldn’t believe how well these bullets performed. Just bought another 100.

Good bullet for 6.5 cm. I have now harvested a mule deer at 175 yards that made it 20 feet and a pronghorn at 409 yards that didn’t make it a step. I got almost 3200 fps before hitting pressure and backed off. It shoots 1.5” groups at 200 yards. There seems to be more damage than the other copper bullets I’ve tried. It also destroys coyotes.
