Rifle: 300WSM Tikka
This was a super accurate bullet for me and I had high hopes for game performance on deer and elk. I shot three deer with it and wasn’t super impressed with how the bullet performed on soft tissue. Shot placement is critical. If this bullet does not hit bone it may not open up. Your experience may vary depending on the speed your loading to and preferred shot placement. Very accurate bullet but may be a little picky on speed and shot placement for actual performance on game.

Amazing accuracy from a factory 300 Mark V Weatherby with a 10 twist. The yote was taken at 327 yards. Pretty good wound channel…Have had great terminal performance on everything we have shot with this bullet!

for accuracy out of my Remington tactical 300 Win.mag. barrel is a 10 twist with 6 groves with these 160 gr. Hammer Hunters at about 3,000 FPS these bullets average 3/4 inch 3 shot groups off my cement bench using a 5.5-22 x56 Nightforce scope ,with a 40 x trigger set at 3.5 lbs. . i am not shooting a max. load either because i don`t want to deal with a pressure problem in Africa , when i get back i will do other review on these fine bullets.
