I am loading these bullets for a Remington 600 chambered in 350 Rem Mag (18.5″ barrel). These bullets have been very consistent and accurate, holding sub-MOA groups out to 300yds.. well exceeding my expectations for the rifle/bullet combo. I was finally able to use in the field on a nice whitetail buck at 150yds (~2200fps impact velo). Entry was high left shoulder, splitting the scapula and entering the chest cavity about an inch under the spine. The bullet shank and all but 1 petal (found under offside hide) exited mid-body just below the right scapula. The buck was DRT. Didn’t take a single step. There was almost zero meat loss on the front quarters, I just cut out a small area of opposite front quarter that had bone fragments around where the bullet and petals exited.
I am very excited about the performance of this offering in the stone hammer line, and will continue to utilize this rifle and cartridge combo for hunting all North American game out to 250-300yds. I have been able to comfortably reach 2770fps MV with 1x fired R-P brass, CCI 250’s and 61.5g N140 at COAL 2.800″. This MV keeps me over 1800fps out to 300 yds in most ambient conditions.
NOTE: Advertised BC seems to be very high compared to drop performance. I have confirmed drop using a G1 BC of 0.235 out to 300yds, after finding a Rokslide forum member “Bluefish” that checked BC of this bullet with a LabRadar system.
