This bullet produced accurate loads very easily in my 300WSM and worked fantastic on a Bull Elk. Great bullet so long as your rifle barrel meets the recommended twist rate.

I have only shot 6 animals so far and none of them liked it! 5 deer and one bear. Ranges from 51 yds. to 558 yds. Bullet performance was great.
Minimal meat loss and almost no bloodshot. I’m getting 3400 fps out of my 300 wlby mag in a Ruger No.1 (SMOKIN) with great accuracy. friends and
family have been using hammer bullets also and no negative reports!
Thank you guys for a great product!

I started running these in my 300 wsm, 3170 fps last year. I was lucky enough to take an elk and a muley last fall both around 350 yards. The elk spun around, stood for a few seconds and dropped. The muley was a high shoulder shot and dropped straight down. Minimal meat loss on both and perfect bullet performance. I wish the BC was better, but terminal performance matters more and accuracy is phenomenal. Checked zero before my elk hunt and shot a sub 2” group at 440 yards (including cold bore). Near half moa groups were boringly consistent with this load. I don’t know if the perfect hunting bullet exists yet, but I will be using hammers again this fall.

I’ve been loading for an old ruger m77 in 300 win mag that is very picky. Out of the 6 different bullets I’ve done workups with the 166HH is the only one that is MOA. Just about everything else has been around 3″-4″. Shot a monster muley 5 days ago at 40yds, lungs hanging out of a fist sized hole… on the entry side! Exit was thumb sized. Definitely appreciate the accuracy though in such a picky rifle!
