I started loading Hammer bullets in my 7 STW. The results were fantastic and load development was a breeze. Now I load Hammers in 7 different cartridges and they the only hunting bullet I use. They are absolutely devastating on game without meat loss.
The 124 gr bullets are outstanding. I’m shooting sub .250” moa with these things in my 6.5-284 Norma. Can’t wait to use them on my NM pronghorn hunt at the end of August.

This was such an easy bullet to load develop. Steve and company really did the hard work and pointed me in the right direction though. With varget, magnum primers, hornady brass, and magazine length this combination has shot <0.5 MOA at 200 and 530 yds and has killed 4 groundhogs dead in their tracks. I gave four stars because for whatever reason the BC in my rifle is not matching the posted BC. I will be using these on Colorado deer this fall.

Recently purchased these and worked up a load in my wife’s 22″ Barrett Fieldcraft for an up coming sheep hunt. Had the load developed and rifle zeroed in 15 rounds with an ES of 11. Average muzzle velocity was 2,908 with 40.0gr of Varget out of the 22″ barrel with a Rugged Radiant 7.62 mounted. I took it out yesterday and found a 6’7″ black bear to test the load out. ~100 yard steep quartering away shot and the big boar dropped instantly and quickly began his death moan. Small entry hole just in front of the near side rear quarter and about a 1″ exit at the back edge of the far side front quarter and lots of damage to everything on the inside. Will be ordering more.

These are the first hammer bullets I have tried. After an 8 shot ladder test looking for pressure I picked a load and shot a .27″ 3 shot group at 100 then a 2.5″ 3 shot group at 607 yards. Looking forward to seeing on game performance!

I recently purchased a box of .264 124 gr Hammer Hunter™s to try in my 6.5 Creedmoor. I have a stock Savage 110 predator that shoots well with 143 gr Hornady ELDX’s that I was nearly out of and unable to find. Several shooting forums spoke highly of Hammer bullets and I decided to try some. They were readily available and shipped quick.
I read of several loads on the Hammer Forum and thought I’d try RL26, working up to 56 grains as posted. My first 3 shot group was .3 moa at 100 yards with 55 grains. 55.5 gr were nearly in the same hole. Unbelievable!
With that I’ll be definitely buying more.

A friend recommended Hammer Hunter™ Bullets and I have had a great year so far. Shooting a 6.5 PRC with H4831SC has been the best load yet! So far this year Alaska Dall Sheep 808 yards! Colorado Pronghorn 364 yards, California Black Bear 100 yards, California Blacktail 74 yards, Montana Pronghorn 605 Yards, and California Blacktail 660 yards as well as several Coyotes. The Black Bear dropped in his tracks! Very impressive performance.

I have been a lifetime shooter of another brand of all copper bullets, but I decided to give the 124gr 6.5mm bullets a try out of my new 6.5prc. I can’t speak well enough about Steve and Brian. Exceptional customer service would be an understatement. I was leaving for deer camp in 4 days and couldn’t find any loaded ammo anywhere on the shelf. So I gave them a call and asked them to overnight a box of 50 bullets to try and Brian gave me a load to try. The next day I got them in the mail, had them loaded up and two shot strings later I had my load. The EASIEST load workup ive ever done. I ended up taking two does and a nice 9 point white tail with them. The terminal performance was nothing like ive seen, with minimal meat loss. But what really sold me was when I shot a doe at 200yards that was moving and I miss judged the lead. I center punched the liver and my heart immediately sunk knowing that I had just wounded this deer. Then 50 yards later to my surprise she falls over. When I field dressed her I saw where I hit the liver and the shank exited, but when the petals expanded they hit both lungs and the back side of the heart. After that I was convinced. Thank you again for an exceptional product and service. You’ve gained a long term customer.

Bought these to find a deer and elk load that would shoot small groups but still do the job. Wow was i surprised. I got .2 and.3 inch groups at 100 and 200 yards with a few opening to .5. To say they shoot is an understatement. My load for my S20 is 55.5 of IMR 4831 and seating the bullet to were the beginning of the boat tail is at the base of the neck. Can’t wait for antilope season in Wyoming.

I have been very happy with this bullet. Everything seems to work well with it in our Creedmoors. 46gr of IMR4451 at oal of 2.765 became our go to load. But I had to try it with other powders. 44.5 of RL16 prints tiny groups in every gun I have tried it in. 40.5 of Varget works wonders also. Just a great all around bullet. I have taken five animal to date with the 124 Grain Hammer Hunter™s out of my 6.5 PRC at 3300 FPS and the results have been fantastic. Full penetration and dropped in their tracks performance from 200 to 394 yards. (2) Antelope) and (3) Mule Deer Does. I highly recommend these bullets on animals of this size. I have not had the opportunity to use the 6.5 PRC/124 Grain Hammer Hunter™ combination on any elk sized game but would not hesitate to do so should the occasion arise.

Great accuracy in my 6.5-284 as well as my 6.5 Sherman. Have taken around 8 whitetails with them. 6 dropped right there and 2 made it 30 to 40 yrds. All pass throughs with heavy blood trails on the two that made it any distance. Super easy load work up. Started with .025” of lands and never needed any seating adjustment from there. Both shoot dime size groups. Great product with excellent customer service.

With my 6.5 PRC and 20 inch barrel I am getting 3150 fps and .5 inch groups with .35 mean Radius over 12 shots, (4-3 shots groups and targets with same aim point 1/2 inch dot, used Hornady 4DOF to calculate).

I have used these 124 hammers grain hammers for over 5 years for both elk and bison and they not only accurate but extremely deadly. Best of all is there is very little meats damage. 6.5 PRC 3080fps.

Awesome bullets. Shooting over H4350 and running 2950 fpm in my Bergara Highlander. Extremely accurate. I am going to stick with the 118 HHT as I get better blood trails but this bullet works. I am getting caliber size holes entry and exit with the Hammer Hunter and golf ball size entry and caliber exit with HHT. Game never went further than 40 yards with this bullet and insides were jelly.
