My old M24/47 Mauser shoots the 198 grain Hammer Hunter™ just like a Mauser should. I get consistent 1/2 groups in the heat of summer or the cool of hunting season. I have Hammered 4 hogs with this bullet from 45 yards to 125 yards. Complete pass through, chest cavity is mush. All the hogs dressed out close to 125 lbs.. I now have a load that matches the SS Patron 197.5 grain FMJ load of WWII in an appropriate hunting bullet. Thank you!!

Bull Elk, 600 yards,198 Hammer Hunter™, went through left shoulder, took out lungs, exited right shoulder. Dropped to the shot. I’m a happy camper.

First year taking an elk in Wyoming, took a cow at 490 yards hitting behind the right shoulder, hitting the heart and exiting through the ribs. Breaking the left leg bone. She tipped like she was hit by a truck and took 8 steps before taking a dirt nap. Will keep loading these and also having a 28 Nosler custom made for lighter carry and will use the .284 bullets for that new rifle.
