In our opinion this is the perfect weight bullet for any 22-caliber rifle with a 1-10″ twist or faster. Very fast and flat with plenty of power for varmints up into deer and hog sized big game.

I’ve used a lot of the different 22 cal hammers, and this one has by far been the most accurate of them all for me. The 57gr is far more restrictive in loading length due to its miniscule bearing surface, but this also has the benefit of giving you maximum case capacity. Pretty much won’t fit AR mag length restrictions, either, no matter how you load it.
If you load in a 223 Remington with a 1:8″ twist or slower, this bullet will give the highest effective BC of all hammers from the 68gr HHT and lighter. Period. The heavier ones just can’t be pushed fast enough to match it in a 223 Remington.
Good powders are LT-32, N133, xterminator, and AR Comp, based on both loading and burn rate. Terminally, I’ve heard from those who have used it on game that you really can’t ask for much more in a 22 cal Hammer than what this bullet can offer…my new favorite Hammer, without a doubt!
