30 nosler , long throat. Pushing these 3115fps with H1000 and Peterson brass. Hit a hog behind the right shoulder into back of the left shoulder. Boom flop. Not a step. Instantly joined the 3/4 club as the entire left quarter looks like it was hit by an IED. Will purchase again. These have a .020 jump to the lands in my rifle and shoot consistently 3 shot groups touching at 200 yards so long as I do my part.

Both my friends used .308 Hammers on this pig hunt as mentioned in the previous review and both were bang flops. The hammers hitlike a ton of bricks I was very impressed! The only down side was the significant wound channel if you hit bone. However, I will say loosing a bit of meat is better than chasing animals into the bushes. If you hit them where you’re supposed to, these bullets are sure to anchor them! Now I just need to get some 180’s for my 300 wsm!

Tried these after questionable performance from 212eldx on a caribou. At 100 yards, the eldx completely fragmented with no exit after hitting a single rib on entry. (Caribou have pretty dainty ribs) As someone who lives in Alaska, I find that unacceptable because I don’t always know what I will be shooting. I may be caribou hunting but a bear finds me first. I would not trust the eldx to save me from a bear.
Since switching to these hammer hunters I have killed a caribou and a moose. These hit like a ton of bricks with instant results. Any bullet that will pass through a moose and drop it within 10 steps at 300 yards is a win in my book. Especially if the same bullet has no problem reaching out to 1000yards. Accurate. Reliable penetration. Clean kills.

Found myself needing to switch powder. Since I am doing load development anyways, switching to the 203 HHT bullets. Fully expecting the same results.

Was finally able to take these hunting and boy are they great. Running them at 2900 out of a 300 NM and was able to take a mature red stag and cow bison. Both went less than 10 yards and were gone.
