The Absolute Hammer™ design has exceptionally low engraving pressure because it is designed so that the ogive of the bullet can not be engraved by the rifling.  As a result these bullets will take more or faster powder than what is normally used for the weight of the bullet in order to get to pressure.  This results in higher potential muzzle vel in most cartridges.  This 105gr Hammer AHT™ will be a screamer!

Stoked on these bullets!! Running them in my savage 110 long range hunter in 6.5×284 norma. This rifle is finicky with feeding, should really take it to a gunsmith to have it checked out but haven’t made the time for it. These are the only bullets I have found that feed reliably!! This rifle is also super sensitive to pressure and will get pressure signs with factory nosler ammo. Able to run these at 3300 fps (which is way slower than what other folks will probably get) but it’s plenty for my needs. As you can see in the target below they are very accurate! Only 15 rounds of load development got me a load that averaged 0.61 inches out of 6 groups (if you drop my one flyer that I clearly shanked of course haha). Three groups were right at 0.50 in and for an affordable factory rifle that is fantastic in my book! Thank you Hammer for the amazing products, keep it up!! Fantastic performance on a New Mexico Antelope at 270 yards, the hammer obliterated the heart and lungs and made for a quick dispatch.
