Thanks to Steve and the team at Hammer Bullets for creating a 276 grain .358 so I could duplicate Elmer Keith’s favorite round for dangerous game. The length and weight allowed my Ruger No One’s 1:12 twist to truly reach its full potential. The penetration is incredible while reaching out with authority without the magnum recoil
Thanks guys for a true quality bullet that will stop anything I will ever face

I worked up a load for this bullet for 2 customers coming with me to Africa. 35×378 wea with a 26 inch 10 twist lilja. With 7828 and an oal of 3.720 it chronoed at 3150 with a ES of 11. 3 shots cut a hole at 100 yards. I didn,t measure but in the 2,s. 2 cape buffalo big bulls frontal at 50 yards hit them very hard. They made it 30 yards and gave it up. I shot my 375 roy with steves 270 at 3000. Also very effective. The PH said in 32 years this was the first time ever 3 buffalo,3 guys, 3 shots. After this experience with proper bullets I see no need for a bigger gun no matter what you are hunting.
